Fresh Chinese black truffles held by a forager

Chinese Black Truffle

Origin: Liangshan, Sichuan, China | Season: December-February

Our Tuber indicum thrives in symbiotic relationship with ancient trees in Western Sichuan temperate forests at 1,000-2,000 meters. While milder in aroma than European Perigord truffles, it delivers earthy complexity and rich savory depth at a fraction of the cost, making truffle-infused cuisine accessible to home cooks and mid-tier restaurants.
